Mission: A place of Home, Hope and Hospitality
The only qualification to participate in our food bank is that you show up! More than just a food bank, we’re a community outreach providing a place of home, hope, and hospitality.
Home: A place to “Love God, Grow Together and Care for the World”. This is the credo of Hillcrest Church and we feel it simply describes the environment of the Southside Food Bank.
Hope: Hope is the anchor of endurance under trial. Though we can’t meet every need, we can fan into flame the ember of hope through prayer and genuine compassion.
Hospitality: All are welcome without condition! Our staff are always available to talk and pray (if you like).
